In an effort
to help meet the needs of our community, Stone Presbyterian Church makes available, on
approval, space within our church building to community groups.
Through special offerings, we
collect funds to fight worldwide hunger and disease, to provide emergency relief, and to
encourage peacemaking. Locally, we provide volunteers and donations of money and food to
community agencies such as the Watertown Urban Mission. NEW:
Prayer Chain
Our Outreach Committee is growing our Prayer Chain. Please call Elders Jon Hall or Cathy Commeret-Whitcomb to be on our prayer line through phone call or e-mail. We
would like to expand the Prayer Chain to include e-mail addresses of members wanting to be contacted with prayer requests. Hopefully this will allow improved
communication between people within the church. We will also continue the telephone prayer chain. People may sign up for either list or both. Brevity will insure
the quick passing of news along the prayer chain.
